This spirit of the season seems to have taken hold at our house. Snow, sledding, Christmas cookie baking, songs and books to celebrate the season have gotten the 2 year old and her parents excited. Iris' delight and wonder is so contagious.

On Sunday we took our much anticipated trip to Snowy Ridge Christmas Tree Farm. It was pretty cold, but crisp and beautiful, perfect for a tree hunt. And Iris had been looking forward to this all week. She was a trooper as we searched for just the right tree...

Here it is! Iris wasn't so sure how fun this was at this point....

But back at home with the fire glowing and lots of interesting toys and "candles" (lights) on the tree she was thrilled once again.
