The long hours of light keep us outdoors til after 9 these days. Then the evening stretches even longer as we catch up on housework odds and ends, an article we'd like to read, or the weekly (tiny short) blog post. We laugh that we find ourselves hitting the pillow almost a full two hours later than in winter. Maybe one can store up all that good winter sleep and do with less in these days when there is so much more to do. We think so anyway!
It feels late this year, but finally the garden is almost tucked in and things are blooming everywhere. Ah, if only there was time to sit and enjoy it all! I'll find my way to that chair with a cool summer drink and a good book yet.
