with love

We spent Sunday at my dad's.  Our favorite, usually annual, tradition of a day at the lake.  Grampy's.  Home of:
 the fantastic garden serpent,
 interesting rock gardens...

with sudden waterfalls,

breezy lake side seating with tasty summer drinks,
 boats to paddle around in,
and plenty of dogs to love.  Thanks dad, these girls are still talking about all the Grampy fun.  For all you are, we love you!
And to this sweet Papa.  This man who everyday reads to them, and rocks them, and takes them salamander hunting. Who fixes broken bikes and necklaces, who builds forts and makes crepes for lunch.  Who teaches them to be "wildcats from Tennessee" while rocking out in the car to 94.9 Classic Rock.  Whose patience is as wide as the summer sky.  Whose kindness is a beacon for us all.  This man who will hold their hands as long as they'll let him, and will be there for them forever.
Happy Father's Day, Papa.  We love you so.
