inspriation from these elves

With just over a week before Christmas and plenty of holiday hoopla still to come, I'm working on reminding myself to take some inspiration from the littlest elves.

1-Literally shiver with excitement at each day opened on the advent calendar.
2-Use colored pencils, glitter, glue, markers, cardboard, buttons, shells and loads of tape to make, make, make your gifts.  Feel overjoyed at the prospect of giving.  "Can we wrap them yet?"
3-Hum Rudolph and Santa's Coming to Town everywhere you go.
4-Decide there are more people (and animals) who needs gifts.  Make them.
5-Rejoice in the unusual abundance of cookies and sweets around the house.
6-Wonder how many days until Christmas.  Count them on the calendar again.
7-Happily (if you are 7, not so happily if you are 4) go through your toys/stuff to weed out a few that you don't use anymore.  Give them to others this holiday season.
8-Dress in red and green as much as possible.
9-Play Jingle Bells on your fiddle.
10-Bounce around the Christmas tree (almost knocking it over) in sheer delight of this season.

When the list gets long, I'm trying to remember what it's really all about.  Hope you are too.

Happy elving all.
