Today we hit the trail. Just for a couple of hours. We all were restless. The girls were anticipating the nights (potential-never done before) sleepover at a friends house. Andy and I are just wrestling with all that we are facing right now. It's hard to parent patiently when your mind is somewhere else and your stomach has a yawning pit in it. It's hard to be a kid when you want to try new things but not much in your life is normal anymore.
Moving our bodies was good for everyone. Andy is between treatments for the moment and feeling good. Ready to ride. I found myself lagging behind again and again. Just watching the three of them go.
Next week will bring a new chapter, a tougher round of treatment. We are hitching up our spirits and hope.
So many thanks for your continued good thoughts, prayers and loving support. This road appears long and windy, your love helps us put one foot in front of the other.
