I was looking through old photos today, this sweet life unfolding before my eyes, remembering carefree days, thinking how trivial the stresses were then.   

Understanding things differently now.
 
Wondering what more this cancer will teach us.   

Thinking about what we have to share as we move through this experience as a family.  As those who are grappling, healing, fearing, and finding our way.

Knowing we are ready to embrace the next steps, with concern in our hearts, but also with confidence and strength.

Hoping this new year will bring us all comfort and peace.

Intending health and strength and healing in all ways.
