monday adventuring

With spring still reluctant to show her face around here and all of us feeling just a bit stir crazy, the kids and I packed up today and headed along the Wisconsin River, making our way to the mighty Mississippi.  We crossed and found ourselves, along with a whole lot of other homeschoolers, in Debuque, IA home of the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium.

I think it was just what we needed.  A day trip, just us girls.  A chance to chat, and sing and listen to stories the whole way.  Then time to run with friends, discover, touch, get wet.  Now, they've fallen into bed, pretty exhausted from all that adventure.  I'm not far behind.
